Its 2:35AM and the beginning of the last week of classes aka 24/hour Canaday. If you’re not a BMC student let me translate that this is when the library goes from closing at 10 pm to being open 24 hours. Which then translates to stress/crying/sleeping in odd places at odd hours/not showering/crazy antics/seniors finishing up their thesis papers etc.. the list goes on and on. I actually have like 4 papers due by Friday but clearly I’m writing this instead. So here goes to my goals
1. Ride a hot air balloon
2. Go bungee jumping
3. Go skydiving
4. Go live on a boat for at least a month completely secluded from most of modern technology.
5. Learn to be a BAMF cook
6. Learn to speak Chinese and Spanish fluently
7. Look supremely hot in a bikini ( yes I know shallow goal but I want it)
8. Fall in love, the kind of love that you know doesn’t happen often but its so special you will cherish every moment you are fighting, sleeping, breathing, loving, laughing with each other. The kind of love people only dream about but you know exists.
9. Be the kind of person I want to be, not the one wishing I were that person. :)
there’s more…i’ll probably add more as I go on.
Client: ”What is LG?”
Me: ”LG is a company based in South Korea. They started with electronics and moved to appliances and other areas. They’ve gotten to be a pretty well-respected business.”
Client: “I don’t want any of that Japanese crap.”
Me: ”Korean. They’re Korean.”
LOL LOL LOL. I love/hate when this happens. We get it with Chinese stuff too.
?!?!?! I HAVEN’T SEEN ONE OF THESE SINCE ELEMENTARY SCHOOL. The 2nd best days of elementary school used to be getting one of these at the end of the day and circling all the books I wanted. Fighting with my mom about which ones I really NEEDED vs. wanted. Then bitterly crying about all the books I couldn’t get while simultaneously being giddy about the ones I could get. The best day would be getting a huge pile of these waiting for me after PE class on our desks and checking out what my friends got so we could borrow each other’s books.

First Colbert, now Stewart! Comedy Central clearly loves charts too.
Here I am, sitting at work during my 5am-9am shift attempting to write my bio paper on the effects of sleep deprivation on hormones and behavior. Can this situation be anymore ironic?
Instead of doing that, I began chatting with some friends about a FB post someone left. Why are most LA Asian girls dumb?
Although I’d never admit it nor word it like that, I do see where this question is coming from. This leads me to my next thought: the difference between West Coast and East Coast.
In no way do I consider myself a “dumb” person. (I’m an LA girl through and through) but have definitely felt less intelligent than my East Coast counterparts. What is that?! A couple of friends and I have discussed that West Coast humor is more vulgar and plain stupid compared to sarcastic humor from the East Coast. Does this apply to general thought process too?
It’s not like I’m any less well read or well educated than my East Coast counterparts. I couldn’t agree more that West Coast people are more “chill” or “laidback” than East Coast people but do we also suffer the consequences of sounding “dumb” in exchange?
I’m jealous of my seemingly more intelligent sounding East Coast counterparts. Our thoughts just seem to run differently. WHY?! SOMEONE HELP ME FIGURE THIS OUT?
Listen, I don’t have to tell you that you’re awesome. You know that already because you can go the the bathroom without your friends, you’ve read at least two epic poems, and you’re totally content making sweet love to a bowl of leftover mash’n’beer instead of some person you met at a club. You…
